Familiar Places, Different Perspective
My latest hike on the Israel Trail was close to home. The route passes through areas that were once part of my daily commute, and the forests are the “home turf” of my orienteering activities. Yet hiking them as part of the Israel Trail offered a different perspective. As development continues to reshape the landscape, the trail strives to keep pace, offering an escape into nature amid central Israel’s growing urbanity.
